Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Canyons Bed & Breakfast in the heart of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in historic Escalante, Utah. We're looking forward to meeting you and having you as our Guests!

CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 4:00 PM ~ 'Canyons' is a 'SELF CHECK-IN' establishment. Your room will have a sign hanging on the doorknob with your name on it. The doors are unlocked and the key will be inside on your table or dresser. If you are arriving later than normal no problem...we will leave the lights on inside and outside. Just let yourselves in to your room and we'll see you in the morning!

NO EARLY ARRIVALS ~ Please...we need the few hours between departing and arriving Guests to complete our daily chores!

CHECK-OUT ~ 11:00 am the day of your scheduled departure.

DEPOSITS ~ A credit card deposit of 50% for multiple-nights or 100% for one-night is required and is charged to your card after 24 hours that confirmation was sent. The balance is due by Breakfast time the day of your departure. A $25.00 processing fee is charged for ALL cancellations after 24 hours that confirmation was sent.

We accept Visa, MC, Discover, Cash.

Please add 12.20% State & Local taxes to room rate.

CANCELLATIONS OR EARLY DEPARTURE ~ There is a 10-day cancellation policy. Early departures are responsible to settle their bill for the full amount of the reservation. A partial or full refund may be given if we can re-rent the rooms, but is not required and at the discretion of the Innkeeper. A $25.00 processing fee is charged for ALL cancellations after 24 hours that confirmation was sent.

NO SMOKING is permitted in our Guest Rooms, adjoining porches or indoor spaces. You are welcome to smoke on our other patios and elsewhere on the grounds. Please be considerate of other Guests.

NO PETS are allowed. We do have our greeter, a sweet Golden Retriever, 'Nellie', who has the run of the main house and grounds, but is not allowed in the Guest Rooms.

NO CHILDREN UNDER 12 without prior approval. 'Canyons' is primarily an 'Adult Retreat' & we strive to preserve that atmosphere.

ONLY 2 GUESTS PER ROOM ~ The 'Cowboy Room' is the only room that can accommodate more... a maximum of 3 guests is permitted with a $25.00 charge for the additional guest.

NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE ~ Most of our guests prefer their privacy and to maintain their own living space. If you should need anything replaced or replenished just let us know.

BREAKFAST ~ We offer a different daily, 'Cook's Choice', breakfast entree with fresh fruit, toast, and breakfast meat. Guests can help themselves to coffee, teas, hot chocolate, juices, milk, and cereals in the Guest Breakfast Room anytime during breakfast hours.

Please let us know the night before what time you'd like to reserve for breakfast, we serve at 8:00, 8:30, or 9:00 am. 'Earlybirds' or late risers can help themselves to a Continental Breakfast. Inform us in advance if you have any food allergies or special dietary needs, we will try to accommodate you to the extent possible.

We are located at 120 EAST MAIN STREET on HIGHWAY 12, across from the 'Subway' sandwich shop and Phillips 66 Gas Station.

Have a safe and adventurous trip to Escalante on 'the roads less travelled'...carry plenty of water and be sure to look out for deer and cattle on the roads. We're sure 'Canyons' will be a memorable part of your vacation.
