Take photos of your vacation and win a free night!

The photo featured above of Devil's Garden was taken by our German guests Nicoli & Sabine Kramer, who won a free night!  They make amazing travel videos at  The other winning photo of horseback riding in Bryce Canyon was taken by Nathalie Clavel.  Each year two winning photos are featured as the first two photos in our gallery, and other places in our website or on our postcards.  If your photo is chosen, you win a free night for yourself or a friend!  Winners will be announced on this page and by email or post card before we open each spring (around March 15th).  If you didn't win this year, your photo could still win in the future.  We have so many good photos, picking only two each year is a challenge!

How Winners Are Chosen:  We are not photography experts, so we just choose the two photos that we would most like to display on our postcards or website.  It's so hard to choose.  Horizontal photos often work best, but we usually need one good vertical photo for our postcards.  That's about it!  Please submit photos by email at

The Canyon Country of Southern Utah has been called "The American Outback." There is a wild strangeness to the rock formations and slot canyons that draw photographers from around the world, professional and amateur.  Some guests hike long distances or return year after year for a glimpse of yet another rare vista!  Thank you to all our adventurous friends who have contributed photos.  You are awesome!  If you would like a souvenir of Canyon Country landscapes, we have a guest who sells aluminum prints that can be mailed anywhere!  Visit
